Originally famous as the first chronograph to feature a slide rule bezel, the Chronomat was launched in 1942 and formed the basis for what would soon become the legendary Navitimer. The watch went out of production during the quartz crisis in the 1970s, but it was revived in 1984 in consultation with professional aviators to find the perfect design for this wonderful timepiece. In the mid-2000s, the design was upgraded to the Chronomat Evolution, boasting both technical and aesthetic enhancements (the name later reverted back to just Chronomat). This superb model is known for its sophisticated gold elements on the bezel, pushers, crown and dial. This Breitling Chronomat Evolution C13356 has a White Roman Numeral dial and a Leather strap.
