The Omega Speedmaster, also known as the legendary “Moonwatch”, is one of the most iconic and distinguished collections ever made. It is best known for its work with NASA as the officially sanctioned chronograph for use on the Moon. But the watch was never built with spaceflight in mind. Instead, it was launched in 1957 with sportsmen and drivers as the target audience. This bright and sporty edition was made in the late 90s in honour of Michael Andretti and his legendary achievements in the CART Indy Car World Series – hence the logo at 6 o'clock. It is an interesting example of a “Reduced” Speedy, with a smaller than typical case, and features a 1143 movement. This Omega Speedmaster Ex Cart 3810.80.08 has a Blue dial and a Leather strap.
