This limited edition timepiece is within a collection to commemorate the 145th Anniversary of the beginnings of Seiko as a Tokyo clock and watch repair shop in 1881. From the Presage Cocktail Series – watches inspired by Japanese cocktail culture, this limited edition watch takes its dial design inspiration from the purple ‘Edo Murasaki’ cocktail drink, comprised of vodka, melon liqueur, blue curaçao and grapefruit, pineapple and orange juice. The radiating dial pattern and curved hands and indices evoke vintage style and are designed to maximise light reflections for clear visibility. With a super-hard coating for scratch resistance, the curved, mirror-finished case emphasises a timeless look. The gold-coloured logo and GMT hand add additional touches of elegance.
