Look closer. The dial is not a surface, it is a statement. Crafted from sapphire crystal glass, its blue metallisation shifts with the light, its reverse side adorned with a sunray finish and Côtes de Genève motif that reveal themselves like a sky seen from altitude. The heart-shaped hour hand moves across rhodium-plated baton indices with quiet authority, while the minute flange, in blue PVD with an opal microbeaded finish, traces the outer limit of the dial like the boundary it is named after: the invisible threshold where Earth's atmosphere gives way to space, 100 kilometres above the surface. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the in-house SMA06 calibre beats at 5Hz, its 175 components held within a movement just 2.5mm thin. The tungsten micro-rotor, decorated with an exclusive pattern of raised and recessed rectangles in alternating rhodium and blue PVD, is as quietly spectacular as the dial it serves. At 6.30mm thick, the 40.30mm La City case barely registers on the wrist. The integrated 904L steel bracelet, with micro-adjustment to the millimetre, completes a watch that leaves nothing unconsidered. The Ripples Kármán Line.
